From market to market, CAU extends its leadership in the wholesale sportswear and casual wear arena with the addition of 4 new ecommerce sites
The wholesale apparel market can be defined in lots of ways, but a significant part of it covers the categories of sportswear and casual wear for both youth and adults. Not everybody searching the Web for polo shirts, states Beukema, "can find us through the more 'generic' apparel sites we presently have. Our research tells us that we'll be able to do a far more effective job of reaching out to prospective clients if we have selected 'specialty' sites." It essentially amounts to a market penetration approach, according to Beukema.

Each carries a similar design so as to provide a consistent "look and feel" for each part of our Corporate Apparel Unlimited enterprise, says the firm's CEO. He goes on to say that "as everyone knows, it's not the easiest thing in the world to create and sustain a solid brand, he stated, and so we're trying hard to keep everything consistent, both for our internal team and most especially for our clientele."
The variety of styles and terms that describe each main garment type are quite incredible, based on information gleaned from the company's CSR team. For example, in the category of jackets there's everything from regular and ¾-length jackets to fleece, fleece-lined, nylon, duck, denim, sports, varsity, letterman, twill, and rain jackets - to name a few - as well a variety of pullover and full-zip windshirts and wind jackets.
