Newest entrant on the youth sportswear ecommerce scene announced, with YouthsportswearUSA.com - a division of Corporate Apparel Unlimited, LLC
Just announced today is the Web's newest e-commerce player in the youth sportswear market, via the Web site www.YouthsportswearUSA.com - a division of Corporate Apparel Unlimited, LLC. A spinoff from the company's successful www.TeamwearUSA.com, the new site provides a broad range of sportswear and team apparel exclusively for "the kids."
"We've been providing a strong line of youth sports apparel for a couple of years now," states Phil Beukema, Corporate Apparel's CEO, "and we decided it was time to let the youth dimension of the Teamwear USA site spread wings and have a site of its own."
As Beukema put it, there aren't many Web sites in the country who are doing very much in the broader market of sports and teamwear in youth sizes, and so the marketing team proposed that a new, special-purpose site be created that people would find more easily, and have a quicker idea of what was available in terms of styles, sports usage, sizing and the rest.
The company's newest Web site will feature everything from sweat pants to tearaways, sweatshirts, sports jackets, varsity jackets, letterman jackets, jerseys, shorts, polo shirts, t-shirts, tank tops, caps, visors, and even game socks. And, the brands represented are all quality - including Champion, Holloway, Fahrenheit, Augusta, Jerzees, Charles River, Gildan, and Lee.
Our market, according to Beukema, includes everyone from schools to community-based sports associations, YMCA camps, church camps, academic camps [music, for instance], colleges, sports clubs, company-sponsored youth teams, and the like. There is almost no limit, states Beukema, to the kinds of groups and organizations who have a need for sports apparel with the team's logo embroidered or screen printed.
A key feature of the site that is "unique to the best of our knowledge," according to Teamwear's CEO, "is our Rebate Program series." Three categories of buyers may qualify for a rebate: Schools, Community Sports Organizations, and Sports Clubs/ Leagues. For all public and private schools in the U.S., for example, the program offers a rebate of 10% on orders over $500 OR a rebate of 5% on all purchases made during the year, regardless of size. Special info-forms are available on-site for signup purposes. Beukema and his YouthSportswear USA team anticipate that, within a year from now, at least 500 new schools, sports organizations and clubs will have signed on to this program and become ongoing members, in addition to those already enrolled via the company's Teamwear USA site.
